Fred Guzielek
President
Fred Guzielek is a 1976 graduate of Siena College holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He started in the insurance business in 1976 as a sales associate with John Hancock Life. He then joined Hoy Agency in 1983 becoming an officer in 1985, and President in 1993.
Fred has served on Utica National's School Advisory Board, is past president for both the Fulton County Agents Association and Fulton-Montgomery Life Underwriters Associates. He is also past president of the Johnstown High School Sports Booster Club, and has served on the Johnstown YMCA Board of Directors, and the Fulmont Mutual Advisory Board. Currently, he is a member of the Broadalbin Lions Club and serves as President of Pinebrook Golf Club.
Fred's interests involve all sports, especially golf and football where he is an active football official within the Capital District Football Officials Association.
Toni Hallenbeck
Vice President
A native of Broadalbin, Toni joined Hoy Agency in 1979. She is licensed in Property and Casualty as well as Life, Accident, and Health. She is also a licensed notary public. Toni holds an Associates Degree from Fulton-Montgomery Community College.
An active member and past president of the Insurance Women of Fulton County, she also holds a position on the board of the Federation of New York Insurance Professionals. She is a past president and twenty five year member of the Kennyetto Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary. Toni is a former Girl Scout leader, bringing her troop to the Gold Awards.
Although her interests are varied, including gardening, quilting and travel, she still finds time to teach defensive driving for the Insurance Women of Fulton County. She is also a former instructor of the Property and Casualty Insurance Broker's Course at FMCC.
Elaine Giaquinto
Secretary
Elaine has eighteen years of insurance experience. She joined Hoy Agency in 1989. A licensed professional in Property and Casualty as well as Life, Accident and Health. She is also a licensed notary public.
Elaine has held many offices for the Insurance Women of Fulton County in the past, most recently treasurer. An active member of the Sacandaga Boat Club, she has held several offices in the First Mates.
An avid gardener, Elaine has served as president of the Amsterdam Area Garden Club for several years. Her most notable accomplishment with this group is the Memorial Rose Garden at City Hall.
Louise Mead
Customer Service Representative
Louise hails from Northville. She relocated to the Broadalbin area in the late 1990's and joined Hoy Agency in 2000. Louise has a broker's license in Property and Casualty insurance.
An active member of the Insurance Women of Fulton County, Louise currently serves as President.
Lou enjoys movies, music, and activities with her son.
Tim Munn
Account Executive
Tim Munn joined the agency in 2003 and is in charge of business development for both personal and commercial lines accounts. He holds a New York State License in Property & Casualty and Life, Accident & Health.
Tim has a sales and marketing background working for Baltimore, MD based TEKsystems Inc. for six years prior to joining Hoy Agency. He is a 1997 graduate of St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Journalism.
Tim and his wife Christine have two sons; Bobby, 4, and Carson, 2. He enjoys playing golf, basketball, and working out at the YMCA. He is also active in the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce serving on their Board of Directors, and Finance Committee.
